DELTA 800

The DELTA 800 is a manually hydraulic mirror welding machine, suitable for welding pressure pipe systems for water, gas, or other media. The machine has a range of 500 to 800 mm and is built according to the international standards (UNI 10565, ISO 12176-1).

The machine contains:

  • A machine carriage with frame, 4 clamps, 2 hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic hoses with anti-puncture couplings that can be quickly plugged in and out.
  • A PTFE coated welding mirror with a built-in thermometer, and a high-accuracy digital-electronic thermoregulator "Digital Dragon" (± 1%). This system includes LED indicators and monitors the normal operation of the machine (voltage and temperature control).
  • An attachment on the machine carriage, which helps remove the mirror during the welding procedure.
  • A removable planer to straighten the ends of the pipe/fitting. It contains a safety micro-switch and a thermal circuit breaker.
  • An electric-hydraulic control box, protected against impact and atmospheric corrosion by means of a plastic box. The control box contains a lever to operate the clamps (open-close), a maximum pressure and discharge valve (also usable for the "dual pressure" welding process), an analogue reading of the current pressure and a timer to keep an eye on the welding times. The control box is equipped with a connection for the electronic data-logging unit "THE INSPECTOR".
  • A holder for planer and welding mirror

With the DELTA 800 you can weld pipes and fittings such as knees, T-pieces, Y-pieces and collar bushes. This is possible because the 3rd clamp can be attached to the 1st and 2nd (sliding) clamp. The fitting itself is fixed in the 4th clamp. Short collars can be welded with a special tool (on request).
