The RAP 315 is multifunctional and modular. This tool can be used both in and out of the trench, for the installation of electrofusion fittings from 180 to 315mm.

This device has 3 functions:

• REROUNDER: makes ovalized tubes round again so that they fit into the electrometer.
• ALIGNER: aligns the pipe and ensures proper clamping during welding.
• POSITIONER: pulling system to pull the tube into the socket.

The RAP 315 is made entirely of solid steel to withstand high mechanical stress (traction and compression).

As a "REROUNDER", the RAP consists of four independent terminals with a large contact surface. Used individually, the clamp fulfills the function of a rounding tool. In a few seconds, the clamp is placed around the pipe and when using a wrench, the closures are closed manually. Mechanical compression corrects the ovality of the tube. Inserts can be installed to extend the range of use

Just a few steps and the RAP 315 turns into an "ALIGNER". All you have to do is use the four clamps, put the four alignment bars in the correct slots, insert the spacer of the clamp and then you will have a practical and robust assembly.

The RAP 315 never ceases to amaze; the addition of the "POSITIONER" puts an end to repeated insertion attempts of pipe into fitting. Once the settings are set, a simple rotation of the handle is enough to activate the pull system, which places the fitting in the correct position/depth. The whole thing is now held in place and welded. System tested to draw up to 1150 Nm.
