Butt welding can be done fully automatically using the Delta Dragon CNC system. This eliminates any risk of operator error.

They are available in two versions:

• SA with manual extraction of the heating plate
• FA with integrated mechanical extraction of the heating plate.

The machine can withstand the most extreme working conditions on site. Particular attention was paid to the connections, the plugs are of the military type.

An easy-to-use software and control panel make it possible to view the most commonly used welding standards (ISO, GIS, DVS and others). By selecting one of the standards and tube diameter/SDR, all welding parameters (pressure, time, temperature) are calculated automatically. If the chosen welding cycle is not included in the standards mentioned above, it is possible to manually enter all welding parameters (diameter, SDR, type of material, welding time and welding pressure...). This can easily be done by going into "out of standard" mode. In both cases, the machine is able to automatically manage all phases of the welding cycle, including milling and heating control.

At the end of the welding cycle, all data is stored in the built-in memory with storage capacity of up to 4000 records. Serial ports allow the operator to connect the control box to a portable serial printer (for instant report delivery) or to a PC. The device is also equipped with GPS and a USB port for PDF welding reports and upgrades.
